David Michael Gorr, 44, died unexpectedly Monday, July 29, 2024 at his home in Omaha.
David was born April 3, 1980 to David and Cheryl Gorr. He grew up in Omaha and graduated class of 98 from Northwest High School. He attended trade school and became a hard-working member of the Sprinkler Fitters Union Local 669. In 2015, he married his former spouse, Christa and was a proud father with the birth of his only son, Jackson, his step-daughter, Alexis, and his dog, Desi. He was an avid Raiders football fan and sports enthusiast. If he wasn’t watching sports, he was watching Ancient Aliens on the History Channel. As an outspoken, long-standing member of Alcoholics Anonymous, David valued sharing his struggles to help others and was strengthened by the stories others shared. He held his gym family close to his heart. Through CrossFit he challenged himself to be better than the day before and enjoyed showcasing his achievements. His last precious months were spent with his beloved partner, Laura.
A cherished son, an idolized father, an adored brother, and a humorous uncle. You will be deeply missed. We love you!!!
