David Wayne Grabener, born September 10, 1962, in Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on August 19, 2025, at the age of 62. He was the beloved son of Vance Grabener and Dorothy Brown Grabener.

David was a hardworking man who enjoyed painting commercially and worked with several companies throughout his life. He was deeply devoted to his family and found joy in spending time with them. In his younger years, he loved fishing and shared a close and special bond with his mom and dad.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Donnie Grabener and Dannie Grabener; and sisters Linda Haney, Jeanie Owen, and Mary Farrell.

David is survived by his sisters Brenda Tauzin, Shirley Brister and husband Danny, Pat Lindsey and husband Bobby, Becky Schooley, and Tammy Barras; his brother Joe Grabener; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved. Though he has left this world, David is now reunited in Heaven with his parents and siblings, celebrating together once again.

A memorial service to honor David's life will be held at a later date.
