He was the beloved husband of Rose Mary Hooper (nee DePasquale) for almost 49 years. Dear father of Susan Hooper and Scott (Kristin) Hooper. Proud Grandpa of Grandson Eric David Hooper. Brother of Mark (Margaret) Hooper and the late Pamela (David) Orris. Son of the late Gerald and Rosemary Hooper. Loving brother-in-law of Sam (Christine) DePasquale, Louie (Marci) DePasquale, Barbara (Patrick) Travis, and James (Raecheal Karas) DePasquale. Cherished uncle and great-uncle of many, and a great friend to all.
A celebration of David's life will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 11:00 am. until 3:00 pm at G.L. Hills Funeral Home, 745 Graceland Avenue, Des Plaines, Illinois.
