I am so sorry to learn of Dave's passing. Dave was a friend of mine at Ballard High. I took Dave on a 5 or 6 day hike one time. We camped at Bear Lake (above Snoqualmie lake) and had a great time. He'd never done anything like that before. I think he enjoyed eating meals cooked over a campfire!!
Best wishes to his wife and family.

As one of the "Minnesota Cousins," I have so many great memories of Dave. I loved his quick wit, charming personality and warmth, talent for sharing stories, tender heart, love for family and so much more. I cherish all of the times seeing Dave, Barb and the extended family in Seattle, in Minnesota and places we traveled to meet up with them.

If I recall correctly, Sean's rent-a-wreck to drive to Yellowstone deserves mentioning. Dave was probably shaking his head knowing how great he was with anything having to do with motors.

I know we have lots of photos from over the years with the family. I located a few more recent ones to share.
