David William Keim, 68, of Greenwood, Indiana, lost his battle with cancer and passed peacefully to heaven on May 7th, 2024, surrounded by family. Dave was born on March 21st, 1956, in San Diego, CA, to William E. and Gloria Jean (Ammons) Keim. The oldest of three brothers, Dave led his brothers, Marty and Stan, on numerous adventures and misadventures! He loved the Indianapolis Colts, water skiing, boating, skydiving, roller coasters, traveling, and beaches. He loved music and shared that love with his son, Brandon. He was incredibly proud of his children and their accomplishments.
He graduated from Marshall High School, Marshall, IL in 1974 and attended Indiana State University and Lakeland College. He was employed as an electronics technician at JDSU, ComSonics, MedTronic, and Advantage Electronics, retiring from MedTronic in 2023.
He is survived by his wife, Janet (Collingwood) Keim; his daughters, Leah Keim and Breah (Jas) Ferreras; his son, Brandon (Melissa) Keim; his grandson, Amias Ferreras; and his brother, Marty (Karen) Keim.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Stan (Jane) Keim.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, at Indiana Funeral Care, at 2433 E. Main St, Greenwood, Indiana. Visitation is from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a memorial service to honor Dave's life at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
