David Richard Kentoff

David Richard Kentoff of Jupiter, FL, died peacefully on December 5, 2022. He was born on July 26, 1937 in Chicago, IL, to Jacob and Edith Kentoff. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan Lipp Kentoff. David is survived by his devoted wife Rosanne Kentoff, loving sons Michael of Washington, DC and Eric of Jupiter, FL; cherished granddaughter Lucy, and daughters-in-law Maureen (Meharg) and Renee (Ellis). After graduating from Von Steuben Metropolitan High School in Chicago, he completed both undergraduate studies and law school at Northwestern University. He moved his family to the Washington, DC area to work at the law firm of Arnold & Porter until his retirement in 2007. Aside from being a successful litigator and Partner at Arnold and Porter, David will be remembered for his integrity and wonderful sense of humor. He had a lifelong enthusiasm for sports, especially baseball and golf. Mostly, David was a loyal, loving friend to so many wonderful people. He will be dearly missed by his family and all the people who had the good fortune to know him. Graveside service will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, 11 a.m. at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, 14321 Comus Rd, Clarksburg, MD 20871.
