Pat was a kind and loving soul who enjoyed helping others. He worked at Walmart North where he radiated positive, authentic, energy to the point where customers would wait in his line just to see him. He enjoyed art, philosophy, poetry, and cooking with his great nephews. He was a humble man, a writer, and a published author. He left a loving impression on everyone he met and he will be dearly missed by family, friends, and coworkers.
He is survived by his sister Mary Ann Young; his brother Tim (wife Marji) King; niece Teressa (husband Max) Barnhart; nephews Lance Jones; Beau (wife Dana) King; Timothy T. (wife Maria) King; Joseph T. (wife Chelsie) King; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Charlie George and Mike. Per his wishes, there will be no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I met David at the Working Mans Food Store, on S. Madison St., in Muncie, back in 1978, I was playing a pinball machine and David came up behind me and told me he had seen me around and ask me if I would be his brother, I smiled back at him & told him sure I'd be his brother, so he stayed beside me and watched me play my game until I was finished, so we said see you later to each other and I never saw him again until I was in Walmart a few weeks ago, he came up to me and said " don't I know you" I didn't recognize him because of the beard, but he was quite a friendly gentleman and told me if I needed anything to please let him know, Now that I saw a picture of him in the orbituary column, I knew exactly who he was, he was my long lost brother, a wonderful human being, wish there were more people like him. You have my sincere condolences, God will Bless David, this I know...
