Nancy Darlene Finney, 83, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at The Woodlands Nursing Home.

Nancy was born September 1, 1942, in Muncie, the daughter of Harold and Mildred (Miller) Dunsmore. She attended Stoney Creek School and came to Muncie in 1968.

Nancy was a homemaker most of her life and worked part time at The Goodwill Store.

She was a kind-hearted person and a jokester who loved to laugh.

Nancy was a member of Spiritual Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Dunsmore; grandchildren, Cory (Nikki) Atkinson and Victoria (Chris Carr) Atkinson; sister, Cindy (Armando I) Cabrales; three brothers, Thomas Dunsmore, Gerald Dunsmore, and David Dunsmore; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Bill and Carolyn Dalton.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Daniel Dunsmore; two brothers, Rodger Dunsmore and Harold "Butch" Dunsmore; a sister, Linda Dunsmore; and ex-husband, James Finney.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Maxville.
