November 25, 1964 July 30, 2023
David Christopher Knight, 58, died peacefully on July 30 with his family by his side in San Antonio, TX after a courageous battle with cancer.
David was born on November 25, 1964, in San Antonio to Guadalupe Garcia and Alice Villar. He proudly served in the United States Navy in San Diego, California as an E-5 Shipmen Services 2nd Class and Medals received (Good Conduct medal, Meritorious Accommodation and Battle medal with E award)
He is survived by his three siblings, Rene (Ara), Manuel (Lakiesha), Rebecca (James), and his five nieces, two nephews, one grandniece, and 1 grandnephew.
He was smart and detailed in everything he did in life. He enjoyed Sci-Fi movies and books and loved the computer game Zelda. He took delight in watching Star Trek, Twilight Zone, and playing chess. He Loved his Food and especially his fresh ice-cold glass of milk. He will be remembered as the Big brother who always was there to guide his younger siblings and did the best job he could do and was a simple thrifty man with great stories and project ideas.
The family wishes to thank Audey L. Murphy VA Medical and Community Living Center (CLC) Hospice Doctors and Staff for their daily tender care throughout his stay there and for the Beautiful and thoughtful ceremony at the end of his life. He will be laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery. He will be Deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.
