Obituary of David P. Lahaie
ALBANY - David P. Lahaie, 51, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at his home. David was born December 26, 1970, in Albany, New York, the son of Philip Lahaie and Guinda (White) Lahaie-Derrico. Dave graduated from Ichabod Crane High School in 1990 and then from SUNY Albany in 2002 with his Masters Degree in Social Work. During Dave's career he worked as a Counselor at various Drug Rehabilitation Centers and most recently for Comstock Correctional Facility. Dave's greatest joy was his son Spencer. Dave was an avid musician, loved the outdoors, his dog Alister and riding his motorcycle. He had a great sense of humor and was a true friend, always helping out when he could. Survivors include his son Spencer Lahaie of East Greenbush, his father Philip Lahaie of Philadelphia and his mother Guinda Lahaie-Derrico of East Greenbush. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the Hudson Mohawk Humane Society. Relatives and friends are invited to his calling hours on Friday April 22nd from 4-7 at the Rockefeller Funeral Home at 165 Columbia Turnpike in Rensselaer.
