David Marcel LaManque

David Marcel LaManque, of Ovid, died on April 20, 2024. He was 52 years old.
David was born on January 14, 1972 in New Hartford, New York, one of five children born to David and Patricia (Hauf) LaManque.He graduated from Poland Central School, class of 1990 and was a lifelong journeyman ironworker. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, with a particular fondness for bonfires, snowmobiles and being outdoors. He was a dedicated ride captain for the Ironworkers Motorcycle Club and also held membership with the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Club. Above all, his faith, family, and friends were very important to him. He was a hardworking, fun-loving person who will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his beloved partner and wife of twenty-four years, Lorrie LaManque in 2023, his parents and his sister, Terry Lynn-Marie Johnson. He is survived by his sisters, Patricia Lorriane (Clay) Forbes, Pauline Pearl (Steven) Claflin, Valerie Ann Greene (Dan Ross); nieces, Courtinie (Collin) Forbes-Patteson, Brittany (Brenden) Louden, Caitlin Nicole Bollman and Angel Johnson; nephews, Robert Charles Bollman and Michael Howard Greene Robert and Samantha expecting son(Oliver David); great nieces, Ruby and Hazel; his aunt, Carolyn Tavern and uncle, Andrew LaManque and families; many cousins, including Marshton Kelly; stepsons, Jeremy and Mike Gravis; girlfriend, Sandra Nostrant; many dear friends, including Celino Morales-Puerto Rico, and his dog, Jade.
