David Roland Lewallen, 53, of Granbury, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 8, 2024.
A memorial service celebrating life will be held at 2:OO PM, on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Highway 377 East, in Granbury. Burial will be private at a later date.
David was born June 27, 1971, in Arlington, Texas. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, building, his truck, sports cars, and always making someone laugh and feel loved. David had a very bright and energetic personality with a heart as big as Texas and was known for always being there for the people he loved. He touched many lives.
David is survived by his daughter, Caitlyn; brother, Dwayne Vincent; sister, Micki; nephew, Blaze and wife and children; stepchildren, Bailee and Hayden; and by numerous family, friends, and loved ones.
David was preceded in death by his parents, David and Lana Lewallen.

David was our Super when he worked for Couto Homes in 2011. We were away for 5 months during the construction and between him and Donny we had absolutely no worries. They kept us informed of everything taking place. We became very good friends and fished together several times. He had a great sense of humor and a huge heart. He will be sorely missed. I'm so sad to hear about Dave's passing. I worked with him in the 90s at Park Row Lighting in Arlington. What a great guy and funny. Condolences to his family.
