David Lee Magee

David Lee Magee, a multi-talented athlete and singer departed this earth on Saturday, September 21, 2024. At an early age David became popular for his multi skills. He excelled in every sport he played in. Throughout the years David would catch the eye of many scouts who would offer him scholarships. Later in life he excelled at being a boxer. He was able to achieve and hold his "Undefeated" title

Four children: Darricia Dalcour of Angie, LA, David Lee Magee Jr., David Harris and Darion Byrd all of Covington, LA. Special children: Reginald Green Jr., Lauren Green and Olivia Green all of Covington, LA. Two sisters: Alisha (Floyd) Owens Sr. of Bogalusa, LA and JaKayla (Robert) Moses of Schenectady, NY. Six brothers: Preston Magee and Eric Jackson of Bogalusa, LA, Timothy (Candice) Magee of Covington, LA, Jordan (Krista) Moses and Joshua(Autumn) Moses of Schenectady, NY and Pastor Michael (Christa) O'Ree of Bogalusa, LA. Special family he loved so dearly: Lovie Ladner (Ronald) Torregano, Justin (Jade) Ladner and Myrtis Ladner all of Bogalusa, LA. Lovie Ladner of Slidell, LA, Sam Ladner of Houston TX, Jason (Nicole) Ladner of Columbia, SC, Catherine Moses and Kendall Moses both of Bogalusa, LA and Broderick Robinson of Jacksonville, FL. Special friends: Carmen Freeman and along with a host of Uncles, Aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Bert (Leola) Jackson, Charles Moses, Misty Moses and Quida Moses. Great grandparents: Eugene (Madessa) Magee, Melissa Moses, Great Uncles: Charles James and Myrtis Magee. Great Aunts: Lula Crain, Aunt: Chinesia (Jessie) Moses, nephew: Deryon Jackson, sister: Rebecca Jackson and cousin: Malcom Jackson Jr.
