Mr. David J. "Dave" Markgraf, Jr., age 88, passed away on March 9, 2025, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Born in 1936, in St. Paul, Dave dedicated his life to his family and his craft as a barber. He took great pride in his work, forming lasting connections with those who sat in his chair over the years. His warm presence and steady hand made him a trusted figure in his community.
Dave was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His love for his wife, Bonnie, was unwavering, and together they shared a passion for travel. With their camper in tow, they embarked on countless adventures, creating cherished memories with family along the way.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie; daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Maley; grandsons, David Pedersen and Drew (Jack) Lehman-Pedersen; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
A funeral service will be held on March 28, 2025, at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, located at 315 - 15th Ave North in South St. Paul, Minnesota. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will follow the service, with burial taking place afterward.
Dave's memory will live on through the love he shared and the joy he brought to those around him. May his legacy bring comfort to all who knew him.
