My condolences to the Martin family,I met Dave back in the early 1970's didn't no him at all, just picked him up in my taxi cab he was waving me down I was coming out of the Holiday Inn with a fare 2 men, he got in the cab and said hi to every one I was taking the 2 men to Lincoln Sq auditorium ,one of the men was Peter ? starred in the movie Voyage to the bottom of the sea, then I brought David home.30 or so years later I started working at the city water dept, and I met David again not realizing he was the one in my cab years ago, then one day we were talking and he asked me what I did for work before the city and when I said that in the early 70's I had a taxi he said really and with a big smile said I was in a taxi after a snow storm with a celebrity and he said his name I couldn't believe it, it was him,and he remembered me. Anyway, R.I.P. my friend. Charlie
