David "Speedy" D. McCullough, 82, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025.
He was born on August 27, 1942, to Arlie and Zera (Southard) McCullough, David was a lifelong Anderson resident who enjoyed a simple, fulfilling life. He had a deep love for horses and was a regular at local auctions, especially Strawtown and gun auctions.
A fan of old westerns and classic films, David was a vintage cinema enthusiast who never tired of the stories and stars of Hollywood's golden age. He was known for his easygoing nature and friendly conversations.
David spent several years with General Motors and retired from there. Shortly after, he became a hospitality driver for Harrah's Hoosier Park.
David is survived by his daughter, Kim Nipper; son-in-law, Jason Nipper; sister, Carolyn Morse (Dean); nephew, Glenn Harmon; niece-in-law, Vickie Harmon; niece, Stephanie Huffman; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson; and great grand nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by father, Arlie McCullough, mother, Zera McCullough, brother, Robert McCullough.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025 at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W 53rd Street, Anderson IN 46013
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of David. www.LooseCares.com.
