Such a coincidence; I was thinking about his journey on Alone while watching this years finale, unbeknownst to be that he had past. Upon learning about his passing at the end of the episode I was overwhelmed with emotion. The Lord sustained him during his Alone 2 season; I will never forget that! He was steadfast in his faith and an excellent testimony. I´m so sorry for your loss and the emotions that this may be bringing to the surface all over again. May the Lord continue to comfort you and give you strength. Thankful for the blessed hope and the promise of reuniting in heaven some sweet day!

David is my all time FAVORITE contestant on Alone! And to see him win brought immense joy to me! He was and is a BEAUTIFUL child of GOD It broke my heart to hear he was gone home to Heaven so young may his memory and love be with y'all always. It was so refreshing to hear David talk about and live his faith in Jesus Christ on Alone. Most all the people on the show are blind to God and though they´re in places that would clearly draw them to the Lord, they don´t call on Him or see His beauty in His creation or respond to His call on their hearts. He is with his Savior now, may God bless his family.

I had the opportunity to meet David at a Conference he spoke at. He shared insights from his Alone Season 2 experience, as well as a message he called, "Never Alone", about God's presence in the lives of His children, even in their darkest hours. Thank You David for those encouraging words.

So sad to see the news of his passing at the close of Alone. Ive told many who are new to that show how he was my favorite and related his misgivings (falling in the water) to his telling the bald eagle that it's not an American, so won't help him. Lol I talked a lot with him on FB. I'm SO sorry for your loss.

My husband is a pastor in the Muskegon area. I rooted for David in Alone. At 25 years old, I too lost my father unexpectedly. I know how you feel, and I am so sorry for your loss. I just felt led to share that our greatest desire as Christian parents is for our children to make it to heaven. Remember what your father taught you: fight the good fight, finish the race, keep the faith. Grant him his deepest desire and make it to heaven. He is waiting for you :)

I was telling my husband tonite, just before the ending of Alone Season 12, that my favorite winner of all the seasons was David. I was astounded to know at the end of tonite's episode, that he had died. I was impressed to learn that after David won Alone, he went all over the world as a minister of Christ until the Angels called him home.

I knew immediately he was the pastor who had won on the show Alone! Learning how he served God after winning to further spread God´s word, wow! A beautiful life lived for the Lord. My condolences to the family.

I personally didn't know David I just knew him from the tv show alone and seen on tonight's season finale of alone that he passed. I just felt like I had to hop on here to say that I'm sorry.

I just saw the "In Memory of David Brooks McIntyre" at the end of season 12 of Alone. I was stunned. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of his family and all those who loved him. But now I rejoice, because he has seen the face of God.

Just saw the message : In Memory of David Brooks McIntyre, that ended this seasons final episode. We are sorry for the family and friends loss, but we are Blessed to have seen this Christian, God loving man and to read of his works to bring the Word and places to worship for many. .

I am so sorry to hear of your father's untimely passing. He truly was and has been one of my favorites on Alone. During his season as it was live, he was the one I hoped would win. His was genuine with a kind and loving heart. I rewatched the season recently and wanted to see what he was doing today. I am devastated for your family's loss.
