David was born September 10, 1959 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late John Otto McKinley and Susanna (Hays) McKinley.
He is survived by six children, Andrea (Bill) Gray, Amber McKinley, Shannon (Kyle) Payne, Erica McKinley, Joshua McKinley, and Lyndsi McKinley; eighteen grandchildren, Alexandria Tyler, Hannah Turner, Austin Turner, Emily Duncan, Dalton Duncan, Dawson Duncan, Logan Lackey, Raelyn Culp, Gavin Vick, Jackson Vick, Joshua McKinley, Jr, Cheltsey McKinley, Colby McKinley, Dakota McKinley, Carson Hamm, Riley Hamm, Nicholas Smith, and Kiley Thornsberry; and one sibling, Edgar (Monie) McKinley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements are under the care of Boyer Cremation Services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Boyer Funeral Home, 125 West Second Street Waverly, Ohio, to assist with final expenses.
