David R. Morganti

David R. Morganti, age 81 of Kirtland, passed away March 12th, 2024 at Hillcrest Hospital. He was born April 26th, 1942 in New Castle, PA to the late Romeo and Armenia Morganti.
Dave was a salesman for 42 years in the food/grocery store industry. He was co-owner of the Kroehle Company, a food broker in the Greater Cleveland area. The Company then consolidated, and the name changed to Advantage-Leeper-DeRose but he remained as co-owner. He worked for General Foods prior to Kroehle.
Dave enjoyed watching his sons play high school sports. He also coached in the Eastlake Boys' Softball League for seven years during the mid-to-late 1970s. He also coached in the Eastlake Boys' Basketball league, where he was the president for three years, during that same time frame.
Dave was the loving husband of 57 years to the late Dolores "Dee" L. Morganti (nee Exposito); beloved father of Jeffrey (Deanna) Morganti and Brian (Jackie) Morganti.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, March 15th, 2024 at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Entombment at All Souls Cemetery at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 16th, 2024.
