David Eugene Nicoson, 48, of Terre Haute/New Goshen passed away on 7/25/2022 at 11:11 pm after a very brave, long battle with cancer in several areas. David was born on April 28, 1974 to Cherryl and Kenneth Nicoson in Terre Haute, Indiana. After graduating in 1992 from Terre Haute North High School, he went on to study Architecture at Vincennes University. David was a welder by trade employed at Crossroads Doors for 3 years, and Great Dane Trailers in Brazil for 18 years. David was known for his dancing skills and huge heart with an amazing sense of humor and smile to brighten anyone's day. He was an avid golfer, loved the gym, and a huge Cubs and Colts fan. In 2015 David married Rebecca Nicoson at TJ Haase Winery in Clinton, Indiana. Together they created a beautiful blended family with 6 children, and one grandson. David was preceded in peace by brother Brian Nicoson; grandparents Kenneth and Mary Taylor, Dean and Barbara Nicoson, Clyde and Alice Ripple; uncle Jeffrey Nicoson, and bonus brother David Haney. David is survived by his wife Rebecca Nicoson;Children Ashley Rock (Jared), Nathan Nicoson (Billie), Aerial Lewis (Stephen), Alyssa Rudisel (Levi), Abby Nicoson, Anthony (AJ) Lewis, and Claudia Jean Nicoson; Grandson Axel Nicoson; Parents Kenneth and Cherryl Nicoson; Brother Mike Nicoson (A.J) ; Sister Katie Nicoson (Tyler); Nieces and Nephew Emma Nicoson, Max Nicoson, Addy Layer, and Taeya Lloyd as well as several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and in-laws; Bonus Brothers Matt Putoff (Beverly ), Cornell Brooks (Monica ), Christian Vallejo, Rodney Stephens (Angie), Eric Gresham(Megan), and Mike Seybold. Davids motto was "Live every moment as if it were your last". Services will be held on Saturday, July 30th at Outdoor Recreation Club, 10625 East Seelyville Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834,from 5:00 PM – 9:00- PM In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations made to Davids wife Rebecca at Vigo County Federal Credit Union. Message from Davids wife Rebecca : "You can shed Tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived."
