David "Lex" Bradley Norris, age 55, of Westminster, South Carolina, passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Born on July 10, 1970, in Oconee County, he was the son of Mary Louise Gilliam Norris and the late Junior David Norris. Lex was a hardworking man who found pride in his trades as a logger and mechanic. He was the former co-owner of Friends Automotive in Toccoa, Georgia, where he served many in the community with his skill and friendly spirit.

Lex was well known as a storyteller, often sharing tales over a good cup of coffee and a slice of sweet cake. He loved music, working on cars, but above all, he cherished time with his family, friends, and especially his beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his fiancée, Sandra Towe; his mother, Mary Louise Gilliam Norris; his daughter, Ashley Haney (Gabe); his siblings, Tammy Holbrooks (Russell), Jamie Norris (Tammy), Peewee Norris (Sonya), Christy Chapman (Todd), and Samantha Cox (Eric); and three treasured grandchildren, Noah, Lydia, and Levi Haney.

He was preceded in death by his father, and grandparents, Jesse James and Paris Holbrooks Norris, and Albert and Alma Gilliam.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Unity Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Sandifer Funeral Home.

The family will be at the residence of his mother, Louise Norris, 264 Elizabeth Cox Road, Westminster, SC 29693. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lex's memory can be to Sandifer Funeral Home, PO Box 69, Westminster, SC, 29693. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.sandiferfuneralhome.com.
