David Alan O'Rourke

David Alan O'Rourke passed away on Friday April 18, 2025 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover. He was 59.
He was born in Orange and grew up in Hopatcong Heights. David has also lived in Pennsylvania before moving to Rockaway.
David was a Propane & Oil delivery driver for Region Energy in Dover. He also was the owner & operator of Groundhog Services prior to Region Energy for many years.
He was an avid fisherman and an Eagle Scout since 1983 and Founder of Troop 1923 out of Dover, NJ. David was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Dover.
Predeceased by his loving Father Matthew A O'Rourke. Survived by his loving wife: Sheila (nee-Hollenbach); and his daughter: Brianna and her husband Gilbert Jr.; and his son Tyler who all loved and admired their Dad, also by his loving mother: Doris I. Lambert-O'Rourke; his brother: Darren and his wife Gina; David is also survived by three Grandchildren: Mia; Rowen David, and Nash, his nieces: Chole Elizabeth & Baily Morgan O'Rourke; and his Grand Dog Maddie.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 8:45a.m. from the Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany. (973)887-3235. With the Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 10:00a.m. at Saint Peter the Apostle R.C. Church 179 Baldwin Road, Parsippany. Interment: Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00pm. at the funeral home.
