David E. Patnaude, a lifelong resident of his beloved home on Greenville Avenue, Johnston, passed away on September 26, 2025 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born on May 29, 1955, he was a son of the late Albert Patnaude, Sr. and Margaret (Holmes) Patnaude.

Throughout his career, David enjoyed serving as a manager at various retail stores, before retiring due to illness.  In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking and listening to music.  An animal lover at heart, David shared his life with cats, who were a source of comfort and companionship.

David is survived by his devoted brother, Albert Patnaude, Jr. He took immense pride in his extended family, which includes his niece Lori Buckley, his nephew John Buckley, and nieces Holly Puleo, Debbie Tomasso, and Dale Lizotte Camara, as well as many great nieces and nephews who will carry on his memory.  David also leaves his soulmate, Cheryl Hutnak.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Buckley, and his niece, Tracey Buckley.

A graveside service will be held for David on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 12 Noon in Highland Memorial Park, 1 Rhode Island Ave., Johnston.
