He is survived by wife Mary Rising, son Kevin (Laura) Rising, daughter Shannon Rising, granddaughter, Sophia Rising, brother Tim (Betsy) Rising, sisters JoAnn Jernall & Linda, sisters-in-law Sue & Kathy Rising, and many dear nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Alex and Alice Rising, and brothers Doug, Richard, and Terry.
Celebration of life & visitation will be held at Twin Cities Bible Church, 2555 Hazelwood St., Maplewood, MN 55109, www.TCBC.US. Visitation Thursday, August 21, 2025, 4:00-7:00 p.m. Celebration of Life: Friday, August 22, 2025, 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service. A luncheon will be served following the service.
