David Alan Sewell

October 24, 1959 - September 30, 2025

David Alan Sewell, 65, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Florence Sewell, his sister Patricia Poirrier (Michael), and was the heart of every room he entered.

Born on October 24, 1959, David lived a full and spirited life. He was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and a kindness that made everyone feel welcome. As a Certified Public Accountant and owner of David Sewell Accounting, David built not just a business, but lasting relationships based on trust, respect, and genuine care for others.

David is survived by his best friend and companion, Michael Gee, and their beloved dog, Baby, who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his brother, John Sewell (Diana), and sister, Kathleen Sewell, along with several nieces and nephews-all of whom adored "Uncle David."

Those who knew David will remember his laughter, his generosity, and his ability to find humor even in life's challenges. He loved deeply, gave freely, and brightened the lives of everyone around him.
