David Randall Shade, age 62, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away on August 23, 2025, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on December 23, 1962, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, to Willie Mae (Slaughter) Shade and Joe Leslie Shade.
David worked in production at OK Foods, where he served as a forklift driver.
Survivors are three daughters, Ashley West of Fort Smith, AR, Akiilah Shade of Heavener, OK and Shaniya Shade of Fort Smith, AR; one son, Byron Peterson of Joplin, MO; three grandchildren; father, Joe Shade of Muldrow, OK; five brothers, Kenneth Shade of Muldrow, OK, Joe Junior Shade of Fort Smith, AR, Kevin Shade of Fort Smith, AR, Marvin Shade of Fort Smith, AR and Bruce Shade of Perham, MN; three sisters, Debra Gaines of Muldrow, OK, Beverly Shaw of Roland, OK, and Tiffany Shade of Fort Smith, AR; and several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A funeral service will be held in his honor on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Trinity Methodist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 10 AM to 8 PM at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK, with a time for family to greet guests from 6 PM to 8 PM.
