David B. "Fish" Shirey

David B. "Fish" Shirey, age 46, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. He was born on March 9, 1978 in Willard to Ronald Shirey and Doncella (Sexton) Courtright. David graduated from Willard High School and Pioneer Joint Vocational School. He loved watching football, especially the Buckeyes and Browns. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
David is survived by his parents, Donnie and Mike Courtright of Willard; siblings, Andy (Stacy) Shirey of Willard; Matthew (Kathryn) Courtright of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; and Elizabeth Courtright and Ty of Bulter, Ohio; nieces, Robyn (Tyson) Jacobs of Shiloh, Ohio; Rachel Shirey of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; Kirsten Kochel and Bailey of Washington, DC; and Sawyer and Ellie Jacobs; 6 aunts, Myrtle, Judy, Jean, Kathy, Pam and Sue; 4 uncles, Gary, Steve, Dave and Mark; and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by 3 grandmothers, Bertha Rivers, Robey Shirey, and Alice Baughman.
