Having grown up in Blairstown I knew both David and his father Herman but we really didn't see one another that frequently and I haven't seen him in years. I was very sorry to read of his passing but I wanted the family to know my memories were fond ones. Please accept my condolences at this difficult time. Thornton Land

I first met David when our family moved to Mt. Hermon in 1957. I started attending Mt. Hermon Methodist Church which is where I first met David. He and his family were members at that time. The congregation was very small so I got to know all those that attended!
We were friends on Facebook and played games together, up until a few months ago when I suddenly lost contact with him. I didn't think too much of it, just thought he might be tired of playing games!
I am very sorry to have lost David as a good friend and game player. I will certainly miss him. My deepest sympathy to all his family and friends!

Sincerely, Millie Van Scoten
