David Daniel Sigers, age 54 of Macclenny passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at his home. "Daniel" to those who knew him best, was a lifelong resident of Baker County, born on April 22, 1968 to Mr. Larry R. and Joyce (Knabb) Sigers. He would graduate from Baker County High School and was a member of the Wildcat football team, playing nose guard, center, and punter. He would go on to proudly serve with the United States Army. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with friends at his home, and maintaining a quiet, private life. Daniel's biggest passion was music, playing the guitar, drums, and the harmonica.
He is survived by his parents: Larry and Joyce Sigers of Glen St. Mary; sister: Ryba (John) Whitehead, III of Lake Butler; brothers: Wendell (Laura) Sigers of Satsuma, Colby Sigers of Macclenny, and Landen Sigers also of Macclenny; numerous nephews and nieces; and a host of close friends who loved him dearly.
Pallbearers will include John Nielsen, Doug Sirk, Leroy Sweat, Dave Carpenter, Casen Noles, and Houston Noles.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Road to Calvary Church. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Tommy Anderson officiating and Rev. Clayton McCormick assisting. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.

I just learned of Daniel's passing. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. As one of his sixth grade teachers, I still remember his sweet smile and positive attitude. He will be missed!
