David was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 6, 1961 to the late Paul Smith and Katherine Martin.
David is preceded in death by Father Paul Smith, Mother Katherine Martin, Bonus Mother Lee England, Brothers Sanford Allen Smith, Martin Lamont Smith, Killy Whiteous and Grand Daughter SaMari Lynnae Smith.
He is survived by Sisters Quinzella Smith, Valerie Smith, Karen Turner, Kimberly Whiteous, Tascha Tucker, Dionne Diggs, Susan Spann and Margaret Spann; Brothers Paul Smith and Charles Whiteous and Uhel Spann; Daughter LaTasha Smith; Step Children Tiffani Hardin (grandchild Raekwon Hardin), Justin Hardin and their Mother Marsha Hardin Russell. Many nieces, nephews, cousins including close cousins Larita Smith and John Byrd. Special friend Brenda Boynton and family.
