David's Life Story
David Wayne Walsh was born in Horsham, Pennsylvania son to Tom and Marion Walsh. David grew up working in his father's gas stations alongside his three brothers, Tom, John, and Michael. After living in multiple states his family relocated to Florida and David graduated from Largo High School. Following graduation David traveled the United States, attended college for accounting, and then found and fell in love with Land Surveying. David worked at two different surveying companies for twenty years and then opened his own business with the support of his wife, Jean. David successfully ran his business for thirty years before finally retiring in February of this year. Despite running a successful business for three decades, David was humble and did not care about money or the possessions success brought. David's life is one marked by kindness and passion. He prided himself in caring for the people closest to him. David was a man willing to fight for the ones he loved and what he believed was right.
Throughout his life he habitually helped friends, neighbors, acquaintances, and strangers unprompted, whenever there was a need. David cared about spending time with the people he loved, playing guitar, pool, or darts with his brothers, golfing, or eating a solid Philly cheesesteak. David especially loved family events and trips, and taking the occasional cruise.
There are too many people to list that David loved and cared for over the course of his life but the family and friends he was closest to include his Uncle Ed and Aunt Donna, Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Nancy, sister-in-law, Carol, nephew Thomas and his family Timea and Adam, nieces Stacy and Angela, nephew Jonathan, lifelong friends Carl and Belinda Carinci, and many friends of his son David, especially Robert Rivera. He also cared deeply for Katie's kids and grandchildren.
David's legacy will be carried on by his children and grandchildren who share his values, work ethic, and aptitude, and the kindness felt by the thousands of people he served and cared for throughout his life.

Katie,
I´m so sorry I couldn´t be with you in person during this difficult time. I will certainly miss our group talks. It was always so nice to see how happy you both were together and how much you loved each other. Dave will be missed.
