Michael (as I always knew him) was a good friend and respected man of honor. He was a slightly bit older than myself but considered an elder by those younger. Within the past few years he'd stop downtown AVL and chat about past times with me. We'd talk about ones we've known and miss who've transitioned. I will remember his hospitality and kind heart.

I loved your laugh - there´s no one who could make me laugh the way you could. You were a great friend to me when I needed one the most and I will never forget it - or you. Rest well my dear friend, you have well earned your slumber. I love you.
Always, Lori Ellen Exum (aka Chocolate Chip [insiders]).
