David Alan Welker

Mr. David Alan Welker, age 57 of Dover, TN passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Tennova Hospital. He was born May 5, 1965 the son of the late Carter Welker, Sr and Dorothy Davidson. David was a hard worker, a valued member of the Maintenance Department with the Stewart County Board of Education. David was a loving and caring man who loved his family and friends. He was always willing to lend help to anyone. David was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting with his brothers and son. He especially loved spending quality time with his grandson, Robert.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Carter Welker, Jr.
Members of his family include his loving and devoted son, Jeffery Welker (Emily); grandson, Robert David Welker; brothers, James Welker (Tonya), Donnie Welker (Gayle); several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 12:00 pm until the hour of the memorial service at 2:00 pm at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Dacus officiating.
