David Wise Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Maggie L. Wise, and his three children, Phyllis Watson (Bryant) (his favorite daughter, loved by Billy and knew he had an ally in her no matter what), David W. Wise Jr. (Miriam), and Matthew Ollen Wise (Michelle), his eight grandchildren, Honey Teal (Jason), Hannah Speck (Josh), David Wise III, Bryant Watson IV, Hunter Wise (Destiny), Hollee Wise, Sunny Wise, and Stella Wise, along with two other children who we welcomed into our family years ago, Dr. Daniel Ramierez and Dr. Liz Rilio, eight great-grandchildren, Willow Teal, Mercy Teal, Nola and Haddon Teal, Everett and Jillian Speck, and Paisley and Walker Wise.
Billy loved and adored all his family gatherings. He also loved attending the grandchildren's sporting events, especially when 3 homer runs were hit in the same game and he received the 3 home run balls from Sunny. Billy was a faithful Christian and member of Roscoe Roberts Sunday School Class at Nevils Trinity Baptist Church. He worked 37 ½ years at Southern Bell and AT&T in Savannah, retiring in 1992.
The family will receive visitors on Monday from 10:00am until 11:00am at Nevils Trinity Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Pastor Joe Eason officiating.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Boyles, Danny Carver, Marty Glisson, Dawson Zeigler, Alfredo Vincinte, and Bryan Waters.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roscoe Roberts and Joy Class Sunday school class members as well as Jack Hood, Charles Henry, and deacons of Trinity Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Nevils Trinity Baptist Church, 1172 Nevils Denmark Rd, Nevils, GA 31321.

Dear Maggie, David, Phyllis, Matthew, and Family, Betty told us this morning about Billy´s homegoing. We rejoice in the certain knowledge of where Billy is and of the new mind and body he has.
