Dean had a lifelong love of sports and was incredibly knowledgeable about them all. He enjoyed sharing that passion with others and will be remembered for his enthusiasm, kindness, and the love he had for his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Dean is survived by his wife, Jana Spencer Gephart whom he married on May 29, 2009; four children, Justin (Andrea) Gephart of Marion, Krystal Gephart of Marion, Brandon Spencer of Hillsboro, and Stephen (Jordan) Spencer of Columbus; eight grandchildren, Isabelle, Kenny, Kardale, Mikayla, Korbin, Wyatt, Killian, and Lux Ann; two sisters, Kathy Gephart, Theresa Gephart and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Gephart.
Celebration of Dean's life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
