Dean Munson Humble of Denver, Colorado, passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 76.
Born on April 13, 1949, in Denver to Lee and Lorraine Humble, Dean grew up in the city he loved. He graduated from George Washington High School in 1967 and went on to earn a Master of Arts degree from Adams State University.
Dean spent over three decades in the print advertising world, working for The Pocket Coupon Directory and Coupon Cache, where he built lasting relationships and made a name for himself with his energy, charm, and humor. In more recent years, Dean found fulfillment working as a school bus driver in Loveland, Windsor, and Denver, where he loved being responsible for the safe and secure transport of his students.
Dean was known for his larger-than-life personality, his quick wit, and his unwavering generosity. A born jokester, he had an incredible gift for making people laugh and bringing joy wherever he went. Above all else, Dean loved his family fiercely. He was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, always ready with a hug, a joke, or a helping hand.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Lorraine, and his brother, Warren. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Kellie Nehring and Whitney Daly, and their families, including his seven treasured grandchildren. His spirit, laughter, and endless love will live on in all who knew him.
Dean was truly one-of-a-kind, and the world is so much brighter because he was in it. May he rest easy and peacefully.
A celebration of Dean’s life will be held on May 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Palomino Mexican Restaurant in Loveland, Colorado.
