Debbie Drabic, 67 of Hanover passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. She was the beloved wife of 17 years to William M. Drabic, Sr.
Born May 28, 1955 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late William and Patricia A. (Weber) Blevins.
Debbie is fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a talented cook and enjoyed experiencing different restaurants. She also loved shopping, traveling, singing karaoke and listening to old country and classic rock music. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially sitting by the pool and watching her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always took care of everyone.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Drabic is survived by 4 children: William Drabic, Jr. and his wife, Stephanie of Hanover, Karen McCarthy and her companion, Robert Miller II of Glen Burnie, MD, Christina Drabic of Baltimore, MD and Tina Fitzhugh and her husband, Jesse of Brooklyn Park, MD, as well as 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to celebrate Debbie s life will be held at 3:30 pm on Saturday, August 27th at Wetzel Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.; 549 Carlisle St. in Hanover with Rev. Cindy Orewiler officiating. A time to gather and share memories will also be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 2:30 pm until the start of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society; P.O. Box 12040; Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
