Debora Estey

Debora Jean Estey, 67, passed peacefully on Friday, April 4th, 2025 in Boyd. Debora was born in Waverly, New York on September 9, 1957 to Charles Ross, Jr. and Ethel Lenora (Little) Smith. She was united in marriage to Raymond Estey until his passing in 2016, spending 38 beautiful years together. After graduating with a Master's Degree from Southern Methodist University, Debora went on to be a Senior Program Engineer at Lockheed Martin. She was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ethel and her husband, Raymond. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her brother, Charles Smith and his wife, Marlynda; her brother, Philip Smith and his wife, Michele (Greenman); her nieces and nephews, Zachary, Rebecca, Kameron, and Lauren Ann Smith, and a host of friends. A funeral service to honor Debora's life will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sayre Christian Church, 427 Keystone Avenue, Sayre, PA 18840 with Pastor Paula Kraus officiating and burial to follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Waverly, New York.
