Deborah E. Headen Brooks, daughter of the late Rev. Patricia Ann Headen, and George Nelson Headen of Asheboro, NC, was born on August 5, 1968.
Deborah was a resident of Sanford, NC. She attended Chatham County School System and graduated from Chatham Central High School. She later earned her degree in Cosmetology on May 14, 2009. After this, she obtained her degree to teach Cosmetology as an instructor. Since she loved learning, she furthered her education by pursuing a nursing degree. Last but not least, she had several certificates, one in particular in cake baking.
Deborah accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Her love and God-given gift to become a great princess warrior in prayer was like no other. She always had the desire to give rather than to receive and it was a gift like no other. Additionally, she loved baking cakes with recipes God gave to her and refused to share the recipe for she knew they were from God. Wisdom and love from God were her driving force. Loving her family and having fun was her set standard. She loved her sisters & brothers, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law, grandchildren, aunts and uncles, and cousins with a pure heart and desired the best for everyone.
Deborah leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Anthony Brooks; two sons, Heini Brewer (Vanessa) and Chad Brewer (Casey) of Sanford, NC; two grandsons, Amarian Brewer & Karter Leppert Brewer; two sisters, Victoria 'Shay' Headen (Derrick) and Ciciley (Gary), both of Pittsboro; brother, Iran Headen of Pittsboro, NC; two aunts, Brina Headen of Pittsboro, NC and Carthina Alston of Broadway, NC; Gwendolyn McIntyre (John) of Staley, NC, a special friend, Rev. Rhonda Dowdy of twenty-eight years, and a host of nieces, a nephew, relatives, and friends.
