Deborah Ann "Debbie" Hackenburg née Dobbin, age 65 of Aston, formerly Darby, passed away on June 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Darby, Debbie was a 1979 graduate of Darby-Colwyn High School. She also returned to school for phlebotomy, medical assisting, and ministry, where she received associate's degrees. She retired from the Interboro School District, where she worked as a bus driver.

She enjoyed the beach, Cape May shore house, and the Ridley Township Swim Club, traveling the United States, taking yearly trips to Disney World, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted member of the New Destiny Christian Center. She was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan.

She will be missed dearly.

She is predeceased by her parents, Richard and Elizabeth Dobbin née Gillespie, siblings Eugene Yaeger, Stevie "Champagne" Yaeger, Raymond Robinson, and sister-in-law Stephanie Killinger.

Survivors: Beloved wife of Paul F. Hackenburg III, loving mother of Kristina (Andrew) Chadbourne, Paul (Olympia Moshovis) Hackenburg, and Jesse (Roberta) Mayfield, cherished Mom-Mom of Jace, Aric, Kole, Leo Wulf, Kassandra, dear sister of Betty Jane Weiss, April Thomas and Georgie(Denise) Murphy and sisters-in-laws Lisa Hackenburg, Patrice Leggett, BethAnn McGarry, and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 6-7pm. A Memorial Service will follow.
