Deborah W. Kelly

Deborah (Whitacre) Kelly, 70, of Stowe, PA, passed away on May 18, 2024, at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Michael P. Kelly Sr., with whom she would have celebrated 49 years of marriage on June 21, 2024.
Born in Pottstown, PA, on March 27, 1954, Debbie was the daughter of the late Richard E. Whitacre and Sarah L. (Griffith) Whitacre.
Debbie graduated from Pottstown High School in 1972 and worked at Wagner Electric for 34 years. After Wagner Electric closed, she began working for Dana, where she has been for the last eight years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cheering on the Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers, coloring, trying her hand at gardening (despite jokingly killing everything she planted), eating ice cream, and savoring a cup of ice-cold milk. Most of all, Debbie loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters, who meant the world to her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity of knowing her.
Debbie is lovingly remembered by her husband, Michael Kelly Sr.; her children, Kerry (& Jeremy) Reazor, Michael Kelly Jr., and Christopher Kelly; her granddaughters, Briana Reazor, Kylie Reazor, Morgan Kelly, Peyton Kelly, and Taydem Kelly; her sister, Elizabeth (& Brian) Walters; and one great-grandchild on the way! In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Sue Kehler.
Visitation will take place on May 30, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 11:00 a.m. Please feel free to come dressed casually, as that's the way Debbie would have wanted it!
