Deborah Sachs Kennedy, 75, Beech Grove, passed away peacefully at home July 13, 2022. Deborah was born April 11, 1947, in Indianapolis, to the late Donald and Catherine (Cissell) Sachs.
She graduated from Mooresville High School in 1965 and worked for the State of Indiana for many years for the Architect & Engineering Board, the Highway Department, and the Attorney General. Always one to enjoy a good time, Deborah loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will be fondly remembered for her independence and fun sense of humor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Donald Johnson, John Sachs, Kathy Sachs, and Brenda Bradley.
Survivors include two sons, John Kennedy and Eric Kennedy; siblings, Larry Johnson, David Sachs, Roy Sachs, James Sachs, Gaidene Cooper, and Mary Painter; four grandchildren, Katherine, Madeline, Gweneth, and Andrew Kennedy.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 17, 2022, 3 to 6 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The graveside service will begin at 11 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2022, in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville. Visit www.CarlisleBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
