Deborah Pauline (Layton) Maney, 71, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, in Mission, KS, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Cheltenham, England, and raised in Shalimar, FL, Deborah spent most of her life in the community she cherished. She was a proud graduate of Choctaw High School and the University of West Florida. A talented artist, she was best known for her airbrush work under "Airbrush by Blondie." She also dedicated part of her life to teaching as a special education teacher at Rocky Bayou Christian School and was a partner in her family's business, Passionate Patriot on Racetrack Road.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ola Layton; her sister, Sandra (Layton) McDonough; and her beloved husband, Jonathan W. Maney.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Maney) Zukley, Jessica's husband, David, and their daughter, Lillian; her stepson, Andrew Maney, his wife, Ansley, and their children, Marcus and Juliet; as well as her nephews, Al and Greg McDonough, and their families. Deborah will also be deeply missed by her extended family and many dear friends.
A celebration of her life will be held on March 22nd at 10:00 AM at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, with a viewing preceding at 8:00 AM. Interment will follow at 11:00 AM at Beale Memorial Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach. of the services will be available to view from the funeral home website.
