Deborah F. "Debbie" McAboy

Deborah "Debbie" F. McAboy, age 71, of Peoria, IL died on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 9:32 p.m. within her residence.
Debbie was born in Phoenix, AZ on January 6, 1952 to Dale Eugene and Martha Elizabeth (Birch) McAboy.
She graduated in 1970 from Princeton High School and obtained an education in business afterward. Debbie was positive and upbeat, gaining lifelong friends in the workplace at Prudential. She was thoughtful, and often followed up with her friends about their lives and current events. Debbie later worked with Dr. Corley and devoted great care and attention to her position there. Debbie had a genuine love for rescuing animals and typically had multiple dogs. Her dog, Jake, accompanied her everywhere and survives, along with her brother, Paul, and longtime friends, Chris Willis, Bonnie Renner, and Judy Jenkins.
Debbie's brother, John, preceded her in death in 1976. Several pets have also preceded her whom she will now meet with great affection at the rainbow bridge.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
