Deborah Carol Stem, lovingly known as Debbie, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at the age of 63. Her life was a radiant example of joy, kindness, and gentle strength.
Born to Carolyn Brown and Charles Stem, who both survive her, Debbie brought light into the world from the very beginning. She is also survived by her devoted sister, Cheryl Pinkleton, and brother-in-law, Rodney, who loved her deeply and shared cherished memories by her side.
Debbie was a special soul with a servant’s heart and a smile that could brighten any room. She never complained, no matter the circumstance, and carried herself with quiet grace and a generous spirit. A true lover of life’s simple joys, Debbie found happiness in the music she listened to, the colors she brought to life with her crayons, and the sparkle of the bright jewelry she loved to wear.
She found great comfort in holding a red bandana and took joy in car rides—windows down, eyes wide, soaking in the beauty of the world around her. Babies held a special place in her heart, and she was known for her warm, freely given hugs that made everyone feel loved and safe. Church was another place where she found peace and connection, and her presence there was a blessing to many.
Debbie deeply loved her family. She was a proud aunt to her nieces and nephews: Dayna, Dyana, Denise, and Dustin, and she adored her many great-nieces and great-nephews, who brought her so much joy over the years.
Debbie was a beautiful lady inside and out, with an innocence and gentleness that left an imprint on everyone she met. She saw the world through a lens of love and wonder, and that perspective made the world a better place for those lucky enough to know her.
Her life was a precious gift, and her memory will forever live in the hearts of her family and friends.
