DEBORAH D. STOREY
Mrs. Deborah Storey of Nashville, IL departed this life at her residence on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10:43 A.M. surrounded by her family. She had attained the age of 63 years, 1 month, and 10 days.
Deb was born on November 25, 1961, in Pinckneyville, IL, the daughter of Wallace and Nora Dell (nee Eigenrauch) Eickmeyer. She was united in marriage to Thomas Storey on December 26, 1981, and he survives her passing.
Deb was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville, IL. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and cherished every second spent with her family. She especially loved going to their sporting events or their time spent together in Bennett Springs, MO. Deb helped establish the Angel for Autism Foundation in her daughter's memory, and she took great pride in helping others in the community.
Left to mourn her passing is her husband of 43 years, Tom Storey of Nashville, IL; 2 sons, Matt Storey and his wife Kristen of Nashville, IL and Chris Storey and his wife Kristina of Carlyle, IL; 4 grandchildren, Braylin and Tucker Storey, Wren Storey and one on the way due in July; her father, Wallace Eickmeyer of Hoyleton, IL; brother, Steve (Laurie) Eickmeyer of Hoyelton, IL; brother-in-law, Jim (Tonni) Storey of Dahlonega, GA; 2 sisters-in-law, Jody (Hal) Waller of Wildwood, MO and Sheila Storey of Pinckneyville, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, daughter, Traci Storey; granddaughter, Nora Storey and brother-in-law, Fred Storey.
Funeral services will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville, IL on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 10 A.M. with Rev. David Benning officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville, IL on Wednesday from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Thursday from 8 A.M. until the service hour.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made to Angel for Autism, NCHS Sports Boosters or ALS Association and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
