Deborah Kay "Debbie" Zuercher, age 68, of Dalton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic, following a courageous three-year journey with cancer.
Debbie was born on August 29, 1957, in Orrville, Ohio, to Thomas and Marlene (Moser) Brown. She was a 1975 graduate of Dalton High School. On July 29, 1978, she married the love of her life, Jeff Zuercher, in Dalton, and together they built a beautiful life filled with faith, family, and friendship. Jeff survives.
Over the years, Debbie touched many lives through her work and her warm spirit. She served as a Teacher's Aide at Dalton Schools and later worked at House of Oak furniture store in Dalton. She spent the last 12 years of her career as Office Manager at Country Road Veterinary Services in Apple Creek, retiring in 2022.
Attending Living Water Community Church in Dalton, Debbie lived her faith with quiet grace. She loved traveling, sharing adventures with family and friends, and especially treasured time spent with her grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy. She will be remembered for her kindness, her gentle Christian spirit, and the way her love for the Lord shone naturally through her life, touching all who knew her.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband, Jeff; her two sons, Andy (Kayle) Zuercher and Steve (Melody) Zuercher, all of Dalton; her cherished grandchildren, Autumn Zuercher, Blaise Zuercher, Audrey Williamson, Zander Williamson, Lily Zuercher, Juniper Zuercher, and two special foster granddaughters; father, Tom Brown; two sisters, Linda (Francis) Woodruff and Donna (Randy) Martell, both of Dalton; sister-in-law, Dianna Brown; and brother-in-law, Ken Zuercher.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marlene Brown; and a brother, Timothy Brown.
Family and friends may call on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Living Water Community Church, 200 N. Kurzen Road, Dalton.
