Rose was born on September 14, 1946, in Ovapa, West Virginia, to the late Hubert and Susan (Hanshaw) O'Dell and married James Edward on January 6, 1966, in Clay, WV. James survives.
She graduated from Clay County High School in 1965.
Rose enjoyed going on walks and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandson.
Surviving are two daughters, Connie (Kim) Nussbaum of Apple Creek, and Karen Murphy of Orrville; three grandchildren, Clinton (Christy) Murphy of Wooster, Emily Nussbaum of Loudonville, and Erin (Eric) Nussbaum-Long of Wooster; great grandchild, Porter Long; three siblings, Sue (James) Jordan of Wooster, David (Brenda) O'Dell of Wooster, and Richard "Rick" (Sherry) O'Dell of Big Prairie.
She was preceded in death by siblings, James H. O'Dell, Perry O'Dell, Phyllis O'Dell, Jack O'Dell, Bonnie B. Woods, and Lowell W. O'Dell.
Private family graveside service will take place at, Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery and cremation will take place.
