Richard L. Roudebush

Richard L. Roudebush, age 85, of Rittman, formerly of Wooster and Orrville, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Wooster Community Hospital, following a brief period of declining health.
Born on November 19, 1939, in Carrollton, Ohio, Richard was the son of Jay and Pauline (Russin) Roudebush. He was a graduate of Carrollton High School. On April 28, 1984, he married Judith Ann Sayre in Rittman, and together they shared many happy years. Judith survives.
Richard worked as a laborer for Rubbermaid for 24 years and also enjoyed a 12-year career as a barber.
He was a member of Rittman Christian Church and the Wadsworth Eagles Club, where he valued fellowship and friendship.
In addition to his wife, Judith, Richard is survived by his daughter, Lisa J. (James Harris) Cherry of Wooster; grandchildren, Sean Deal, Kaitlyn Cherry, Halle (Ty) Huellemeier, and Nicole Reischman; and great-grandchildren, Eleanor, Otto, Dallas, Henry, and Theodore. He is also survived by his brothers, Gary Roudebush of Florida and Martin Roudebush of Carrollton; his sister, Beverly Roudebush of Carrollton; and a dear friend, Mike Farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Gaye Lynn Reischman; and his brother, Ronnie Roudebush.
Friends may call on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Auble-Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman.
A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Michael R. Hatton officiating. Burial will take place at Westview Cemetery in Carrollton.
