Debra G. Bomactao

Debra Bomactao, a radiant spirit and beloved wife, passed away peacefully at her home in Salinas on August 15, 2025, surrounded by her devoted husband, family, and cherished friends. Her life was a beautiful reflection of compassion, grace, and steadfast faith. She was born March 13, 1957 in Austin, Texas.

The beloved wife of Lionel Bomactao, Debra was a woman whose warmth extended far beyond the walls of her home. Though she had no children of her own, she embraced everyone she met with open arms and a heart full of love. Her quiet strength and kind presence left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Debra believed deeply in the power of love and kindness, often reminding those around her to "treat each other with love as God loves you." These words, lived out daily in her actions, defined her life's mission; one of empathy, encouragement, and unwavering faith in the goodness of others.

She leaves behind a legacy of selfless generosity, heartfelt conversations, and the kind of gentle strength that guides others long after she is gone. Her spirit continues to live on in the countless lives she uplifted and inspired.

Debra is survived by her loving husband, Lionel, along with a wide circle of family and friends who will forever remember her as a beacon of light. She was preceded in death by her mother, Susie Guajardo, and her grandmother, Rita A. Guajardo-strong women who instilled in her the enduring values of compassion and faith that shaped her beautiful journey.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Rosary will be held 6:00p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Struve and Laporte Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be held 10:00a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Madonna Del Sasso Church,
